Library

We support local health care by providing resources such as library services to meet health professionals’ needs and retain them in the communities who need them most.

The Library at GSAHEC is available free of charge to local health professionals, students, health educators and teachers in GSAHEC’s medically underserved areas. The Library inventory contains books, periodicals, brochures, CDs, VHS and journals.

To Borrow Materials:

To borrow books, videotapes, compact disks or printed materials, please print the Borrowers Agreement, complete it and mail or fax a signed copy to us. If you need assistance or further information, you may contact Nicole Marquez our Administrative Support Specialist at (941) 361-6602.

Your materials can be picked up at our office or in most cases will be mailed free of charge directly to the address you provided on the borrowers agreement. Due to their size, some large items/orders and VHS sets can not be mailed and must be picked up at our office. Materials may be borrowed for the period of 14 days or other special arrangements can be made.
